The Truth About Nursing stands with the people of Ukraine
We support the nurses of Ukraine and everyone affected by the Russian invasion of February 2022. We call on all involved in the conflict to avoid harming health workers and facilities, and we urge anyone who can to support relief operations for the people of Ukraine.
February 27, 2022 – The Truth About Nursing stands in solidarity with the nurses of Ukraine and all those suffering because of the recent Russian invasion. “We are particularly concerned about reports that health care facilities have been attacked,” said Sandy Summers, executive director of the Truth About Nursing. The Truth notes that international law bars targeting or indiscriminately attacking civilians and health facilities.
Those wishing to volunteer might consider checking out the Ukrainian Ministry of Health’s website for opportunities.
